Two Car Garage

Ok, here is an old one from B. J. Thomas..

Would you believe I'm thinking about
A two car garage
And a two story house
And a couple of kids
We can brag about
Give me a two-toned Chevrolet
And too many bills to pay
And your two arms
Too make me happy living that way

Isn't that the American Dream? I heard the other day that now several credit card companies are now asking for bailout money from the government. Seems that they owe more than they are worth. Funny, hasn't that become the new American standard thanks to credit cards and financing? Now they know what it's like to be "upside down". Just look around some time at what companies own the nicest buildings in town. It is definitely the banks.

Our own government can't even balance a budget. Just look at our National Debt, how are they going to give bailout money that doesn't exist. Ah... by going further into debt. The New American Dream. Instant gratification, give it to me now and I will pay for it later. Don't care what the interest rate is, as long as I can make the monthly note. Thats why our economy is in the shape it's in. No savings for a rainy day.

When the heads of the automakers were in Washington asking for bailout money, they were all asked how they got there. Of course, all by private jets. Then they were scrutinized for it, as they should have been. However, Nacy Pelosi is just a guilty of this, and we pay the tab.

"I think somebody needs to go through the Dave Ramsey course." Yes I am talking to you Ms. Pelosi.

I am just glad, that when the last breath of life leaves my body, that I will be receiving my heavenly bailout.

wishing people would start taking responsibility for their actions is... on this cowboys mind.
